We Signed the Consultancy Agreement for the Kuwait Railway Project

We have signed the engineering and consultancy services contract for the first phase of the Kuwait Railway Project with the Ministry of Public Works of Kuwait. The said contract was signed by H.E. Dr. Nora Mohammad Al MASHAAN, Minister of Public Works of Kuwait, and our Chairman of the Board of PROYAPI Engineering and Consultancy Inc., Mr. Murat Koru.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kuwait, H.E. Tubanur Sönmez, esteemed members of the Turkish Embassy, numerous senior Kuwaiti government officials, and members of the local media.

The agreement marks a significant step in the development of Kuwait’s railway infrastructure.

The Kuwait phase of the 2,177-kilometer-long GCC Railway Project, aimed at facilitating transportation between Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, will begin with a 111-kilometer first phase. This line is planned to start from the main station in Shadadiyah and extend to Nuwaiseeb, on Kuwait’s southern border.

As PROYAPI Engineering and Consultancy Inc., we aim to contribute to strengthening Kuwait’s transportation infrastructure through the engineering and consultancy services we will provide in this project. This project also reinforces the technical cooperation between Türkiye and Kuwait and adds another milestone to our international achievements.
